Las Cruces, NM –Today, Rep. Xochitl Torres Small (NM-02) announced the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will host its second public meeting to hear from community members and accept feedback on the draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) for the proposed Holtec HI-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility in Carlsbad this Thursday, July 9th, 2020 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm MT.
